LCE Showtime, was purchased by Mark Griffith and Campbell Letchford in 2016, who immediately began modifications to make her a faster, better boat. The modifications which include new lighter deeper keel, extended sprit, larger sails and pedestal have paid off with Showtime finishing the race 23^rd overall and fourth in Division 2 last year. The Ker 40 finished third overall for a Division 0 win in the 2018 Brisbane Keppel race, won the Corinthian Division of July’s Noakes Sydney Gold Coast race, was 10^th overall and won Division 2 in the Flinders Islet Race. There are no doubts this yacht has the legs and is a favourite among the 40 footers.
