Polaris of Belmont

 

One of the veterans of this race, Polaris of Belmont has competed in 21 Rolex Sydney Hobart Races, placing 2nd in the IRC division in 2001. This will be the second for the boat under the ownership of Chris Dawe, a member of Gosford Sailing Club, and the boat and crew are ready to face the challenges of the prestigious race and are looking to live up to the previous fine performances of this classic vessel.
