Flying Fish Arctos is the flagship of the Flying Fish offshore training fleet, based at Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Sydney. Designed by Graham Radford in collaboration with Don McIntyre for a Southern Ocean circumnavigation, Arctos was purchased by Flying Fish Australia shortly after completing the voyage. She has since completed 19 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races. Her crew typically combines experienced local sailors with international trainees undertaking professional offshore sailing and Yachtmaster training with Flying Fish. Flying Fish Arctos has a strong Sydney Hobart record under PHS, including an overall PHS win in 2017, when she also won Division 2 and finished ahead of every Division 1 yacht. She previously won PHS in 2010 and recorded a second place in 2009 and third in 2012.
