Wayne Seaward and Cyan Moon return from Victoria as defending PHS champions, after winning both PHS Overall and PHS Division 2 in last year's 80th race. It was a second PHS title for the Beneteau Oceanis 473, which also won in 2022, and redemption after retiring with rig damage in 2023 and battery issues in 2024. Cyan Moon is raced out of Royal Brighton Yacht Club by the Seaward family and their friends on Port Phillip. To escape winter, they normally head north for the Queensland circuit, this year placing sixth in PHS in the Gold Coast to Mackay race.
