After 35 Sydney Hobart campaigns, Sean Langman believes Back 2 Black is the yacht that could deliver him the race’s holy grail – an Overall victory. Last year, the GP42 he renamed Back 2 Black, for the song co-written and sung by the late Amy Winehouse, was 16th over the line, 24th Overall and second in IRC Division 2. Langman and Back 2 Black, who represented the CYCA at the 2025 Admiral’s Cup, finishing fifth overall alongside Zen, started 2026 with a bang, taking the Overall title in the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race, an event baring the title of his business.
