Profile
A promising boat, Sticky retired early with electrical damage in 2023. Richard Harris and his yacht contested the 2025 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour race and finished 12th overall after maintaining second overall until the last 12 hours. Harris bought this well-credentialled Cookson 50 from Julian Farren-Price three years ago, a big step up from his Salona 38, Sticky.
Under her former name, About Time, she did the 2019 Rolex Sydney Hobart. Before that, she raced as Living Doll, Shogun and Terra Firma out of Melbourne, contesting the 2016 Sydney Hobart as Terra Firma. Harris raced his previous Sticky to Hobart in 2019 and placed 79th. He lives in Sydney but is originally from Hobart and enjoys racing ‘back home’, he says. In the lead-up, Sticky placed eighth overall in the 2025 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Race.
