Alacrity returns to the Hobart race after a four year break, at the request of owner Matthew Percy’s son Chris, who will be undertaking his first Hobart. Chris has sailed many miles on Alacrity but his age has held him back from competing in this race before now.  He will join the crew, many of whom have sailed together for a number of years.  Matt and Chris will be one of many father son combinations competing in this year's Rolex Sydney Hobart.

The yacht has undergone some minor modifications and Matt is hoping for a great race south for the ‘new’ crew.
