Formally known as Stark Raving Mad, Black Jack is the sister ship of the highly successful racing yacht Wild Oats X and is now owned by Queenslander Peter Harburg. Harburg and his champion skipper Mark Bradford have had solid results in Queensland winter racing. Black Jack took line honours and overall IRC handicap honours in the Brisbane-Keppel race, then went on to beat Wild Oats X in the line honours battle at the 2008 Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The crew of Black Jack includes America’s Cup sailors Anthony Nossiter and Peter Merrington, along with Vaughan Prentice from North Sails and the highly experienced race veteran Bruce Clarke.
