Recently purchased by Rob Sill from Sandringham Yacht Club, who previously owned well known Sydney Hobart boats Black Magic and Breadfruit, INSX, formerly Torpan International, placed 2nd overall in her division in the ORCV winter series in Victoria. The boat raced in last year's Rolex Sydney Hobart as Torpan International and finished 8th overall in PHS. INSX will be sailed south this year by a mix of youth and experience who will be driving the boat hard all the way to Hobart.

The name of the boat simply came about as a play on words from the design  which is a Northshore NSX 38 -and the great rockn'roll Band Inxs.

The boat will be sponsored for this year’s race by Akron Roads, a leading Melbourne civil engineering specialist.
