Plenty of experience between this crew with 168 Hobarts between them. Tasmanian yachtsman John Bennetto, who sailed his first Sydney to Hobart race back in 1947, is only two races behind Richard Hammond, the record holder for the most races, who is not sailing this year. Mirrabooka has competed in every Sydney to Hobart race since being launched in 1987 and she regularly finishes mid fleet.
