Mark Twain holds the record for the most number of Sydney to Hobart yacht races (21) along with Margaret Rintoul II, which has also entered this year's race. Over the years, Mark Twain has had three second places and two thirds in division and she successfully completed last year's gruelling Telstra Sydney Hobart Race finishing 17th overall on IMS handicap. Mark Twain is also a veteran of 13 Lord Howe Island races.
