Komatsu Blue Lady is a sail training vessel owned by 'Getaway Sailing Adventures'. She was one of only 44 finishers in last year's Telstra Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, finishing 16th on IMS handicap. While owner Shane Kearns does not expect such a good result this year, he will be happy to finish mid-fleet. This year's crew is largely made up of standout rookies who have completed learn to sail courses and ocean races with Getaway Sailing Adventures
