This syndicate of owners, known as The Rum Consortium, have plenty of experience between them (110 Hobart's), led by Maurie Cameron veteran of 24 Sydney Hobart races. While not expecting a top result, the crew plan to have a good time getting to Hobart. The yacht itself has sailed in 19 Hobart, only missing one race since it was launched in 1979.
