This is the first time a yacht from Timaru Yacht Club, a small dinghy club halfway down the eastern coast of NZ's South Island, has entered the Sydney to Hobart race. Back in a home waters EZ Street has competed in numerous offshore races with her best result coming in last year's Wellington Gisborne race when she placed 3rd over the line and 2nd in PHRF division. One of 3 New Zealand entries in this year's race and one of 11 international entries, a big increase on last year.
