City Limits has raced to Hobart three times, her best result being eighth overall in 1984. Skipper Michael Carr and all his crew are members of the Kiama Cruising Yacht Club on the NSW South Coast, their last long race being eighth in the Arbitrary division of the 1988 Sydney to Gold Coast race after "fending off North Head at the start."
