Skipper Dick Fidock is one of South Australia’s best known ocean racing yachtsmen, a past member of the AYF Offshore committee and chairman of the Admiral’s Cup selection trials in previous years. This will be his 15th Sydney to Hobart since 1956, winning a number of divisional prizes with his previous yachts, Karrelah, Morning Hustler and Kestrel. With Dictator, he finished second on IOR in this year’s Adelaide to Port Lincoln race.
