Profile
After two years of successful sailing with the Davidson-designed Szchewan, Warren Johns went back to the New Zealander for this brand new, state-of-the-art One Tonner, with the ultimate aim of contesting the Kenwood Cup in Hawaii and the One-Ton Cup in San Francisco in 1988 following this year’s Southern Cross Cup, the Sydney-Hobart, Sydney-Mooloolaba and Hamilton Race Week. He has put together a top crew, with Ron Jacobs and sailing master and Bob Fraser and co-helmsman/tactician.
