Profile
Thirlmere is a Peterson one tonner of the old rule. Previously named Deception she first entered the Hobart in 1978. She has been owned by Simon Green for some time now and she is saiedl with enthusiasm. It is known in racing circles that the Sow & Pigs Reef in Sydney Harbour is now called 'Thirlmere Reef' after an encounter in this year's Mooloolaba race. Skipper Simon Green will keep well clear of it this Boxing Day.
