Shanti is the only New Caledonian yascht entered in this year's race. She has been a visitor to these shores on previous occasions, sailing in the 1050 mile Sydney Noumea Race in which she has been highly placed. A Scott Kaufman design launched in 1980 Shanti should perform well.
