Inch by Winch is a Peterson design built by Denis O'Neil specifically as an Admiral's Cup contender for the '81 trials. She has been owned by Joe Goddard for several years and herself has sailed in three previous Hobarts. In club racing she has had mixed results, Joe Jnr, a yacht designer, is taking the helm of this Queensland Southern Cross Cup team member and will be trying to better his father's 63rd in last year's race.
