A Ron Holland designed 2-tonner from Western Australia, Gold Prospects was only launched in November this year. As yet untried, she has good credentials in both in design and crew, which is headed by the Admiral's Cup selector Dick Fidocl from South Australia. Her performance against will-tried 2-tonners will be watched with interest.
