A shiny new Ed Dubois fractional-rigged one tonner. Bimblegumbie from Hong Kong Kong was just launched (November) and will be taking her crew on their first Hobart. They are, however by no means new to the rigors of the ocean, having seen heaps of China Sea and two of them having done the infamous 1979 Fastnet on the Hong Kong Admiral’s Cupper, Vanguard. Her form is unknown, but she could be expected to be pushing the front runners hard.
