This fine Sparkman Stephens design makes a welcome return to the Hobart race after an absence of 12 years. She has sailed in three previous races, finishing a fine 7th in 1966 but retiring in both 1967 and 1968. Outdated by the latest rule, she will still give modern designs a fright if there are light to moderate headwinds. This will be the first Hobart for the majority of the crew, although they are well experienced in Bass Strait racing.
