A Blackburn designed Three quarter tonner a sistership to Chance and better-known Quadrille, Hecate shares their chances in this race including the ability to handle heavy weather with some panache.  Hecate has not appeared in the Sydney Hobart Race before, and although she is known to have raced in South Australia, we know little of her form on the east coast.
