Appaloosa is a very successful Victorian yacht which was 2nd in Division C in last year's Hobart race and won the first Melbourne to Hobart West Coast race in 1973, the year of her launching. Constructed of timber to a Buchanan design, she was built by her owner and races out of Geelong.
