Profile
This light displacement cutter, designed by Alan Payne for Bob Ball and launched in 1949, sailed in the 1949, 1950, 1952 and 1953 races. Her best performance was 3rd in 1953. She was acclaimed as being ahead of her time. Her new owner is John 'Beetle' Hebden, former Australian Moth lass Champion, crew member with Rick Le Plastrier, the runner-up in the Soling Class Olympic trials earlier this year. He and his crew have done a remarkable job in restoring this fine little craft to her original condition.
