Yendys
Geoff Ross has purpose built this brand new Reichel/Pugh 55 to attempt a second Overall win. This is the first grand prix yacht out of McConaghy International’s new boatyard in China and expectations are high. As usual Ross has assembled a first class crew including champion helmsman Sean Kirkjian. Yendys carries a sail number of 1836 - the year Geoff's ancestors first arrived in Hobart via convict transportation 170 years ago in December this year.
Yendys is due to leave China mid October and will arrive in Sydney in early November before being officially launched by the Chinese Ambassador at the CYCA late November.
