Tech firm InfoTrack has reclaimed naming rights of Christian Beck’s two-time Line Honours winning 100-foot maxi and announced a new charity partnership and star ambassador at a major launch ahead of the 2026 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
For the first time in four years, the InfoTrack named yacht, formerly known as LawConnect, will contest the gruelling 628-nautical-mile race, this time chasing a win and ‘Sailing for a Purpose’ to raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation.
InfoTrack is part of a world class four-boat fleet of 100-footers including Anthony Bell’s Tribeca LOYAL, Grant Wharington’s Wild Thing 100 and Mark Richards’s Palm Beach XI as they go head-to-head in the quest for the Illingworth Challenge Cup, awarded to the first yacht across the line in Hobart.

Australian Father of the Year 2026 and media personality, Matty J, has been named official ambassador and will be part of the 21-strong crew onboard for the sailing season and the historic race.
InfoTrack Founder, and Owner and Skipper of the yacht, Christian Beck, said bringing the InfoTrack name back to one of Australia’s most iconic sporting events marked a new era for the yacht.
“This year, we’re bringing the InfoTrack name back to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race using our technology to bring people closer to the race and support Starlight Children’s Foundation,” Mr Beck said.
“This is the people’s boat. We want everyone to feel part of the race, whether they’re watching us live from onboard the InfoTrack SuperMaxi, following the crew from start to finish or donating to Starlight. If we can make a difference to sick kids and their families along the way, that’s a win in itself.”
Starlight Children’s Foundation CEO Louise Baxter said InfoTrack’s ‘Sailing for a Purpose’ fundraiser gave Australians and the global sailing community a chance to be part of something bigger than a sporting event.
“Thanks to InfoTrack, the millions of people who watch the race will have the opportunity to help Starlight create moments of happiness and joy for seriously ill children and their families that will last long after the race is over."
‘Sailing for a Purpose’ Ambassador, Matty J, who has been a Starlight Ambassador since 2024, said he was looking forward to challenging himself and championing the Starlight cause.
"As a dad of three young girls, I know what it's like to experience the stress of illness and emergency trips to hospital. That's why I'm so proud to support Starlight and the incredible work they do for sick kids. Learning to sail was my New Year's resolution, so I've certainly thrown myself in the deep end. Being part of the ‘Sailing for a Purpose’ campaign is a unique opportunity to help make a real difference, and I can't wait to get out on the water with the crew," said Matty J.

InfoTrack CEO John Ahern said like InfoTrack, the 100-footer will bring together the best in technology, innovation, teamwork and high-performance.
“The InfoTrack SuperMaxi will have the most advanced technology on the water. With a record number of cameras live-streaming from onboard, including throughout the night for international viewers to follow the race as it unfolds,” Mr Ahern said.
The 2026 Rolex Sydney Hobart kicks off Saturday 26 December at 1300 hours AEDT. The start and finish will be broadcast live on the race website and via CYCA’s YouTube channel.
