0730hours report from Mike Reynolds, skipper of Degrees of Freedom:

Tassie Ho!  Maria Island and the Freycinet Peninsula in sight.

Another good night at sea.  Broad reaching under plain sail in 25-35 knots.  Doing steady 9-10 knots much of the night under reefed main and reefed headsail.  Around dawn the breeze dropped and we sequenced from chicken shute to kite to asymmetric.

Last night we enjoyed a late dinner of pepper chicken.  We are anxiously awaiting le chef's awakening and the magnificent breakfast which will surely follow.
