Position reports are provided by boats by HF radio in “skeds” conducted by a team headed by CYCA Life Member and Past Commodore David Kellett.  

With the assistance of Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, the skeds are streamed through the race website. 

This is a recording of the sked conducted with the fleet on the morning of 30 December, with the static and atmospheric interference just as the boats hear it.
