Min River’s historic Rolex Sydney Hobart Overall victory
Min River has been declared the Overall winner of the 2025 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, making her owner, Jiang Lin, the first woman to ever win the race and together with her co-skipper Alexis Loison they also became the first double handed crew to lay claim to the famous Tattersall Cup – a day of historic significance in the race.

About The Race
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race began in 1945 when nine yachts gathered on what was originally planned to be a leisurely cruise down to Hobart. As the spark of competition ignited amongst them, when the smallest competitor Rani sailed into Constitution Dock on New Years Day 1946, their journey gave birth to what would become the legendary Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Transforming into an international yachting classic, the Race quickly became an icon of Australian summer sport.
