Newly elected President of the Australian Yachting Federation, Graeme Ainley, is contesting his 22nd Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

Newly elected President of the Australian Yachting Federation,  Graeme Ainley,  and his co-owner of the Melbourne yacht Bacardi,  John Williams,  will each be sailing their 22nd race in this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

For their much-travelled Peterson 44,  it will be its 20th start since being launched in 1978. A noted heavy weather performer, Bacardi placed third overall in the IRC division in 2000 and second in division in the stormy race of 1998.

Past president of the Yachting Association of NSW,  David Kellett,  and a former line and handicap winner of the Sydney Hobart Race is leading the CYCA team aboard the Radio Relay Vessel,  Four Seasons.
